AISI 441 is een nominaal 18% chroom (Cr) lager ferritisch roestvast staal gestabiliseerd met niobium (Nb).
Roestvast staal 441 biedt een goede sterkte bij hoge temperaturen die groter is dan die van roestvast staal type 409 en 439.
Type 441 roestvast staal biedt een goede corrosiebestendigheid in veel uitlaatgasomgevingen, gelijkwaardig aan dat van type 439.
